Financial Eligibility	Income at or below 250% of the current Federal Poverty Level. Not eligible for Medicaid. No third party insurance that pays for more than 50% of the cost of covered medications.
Medical Eligibility	HIV+ with proof of Western Blot. Verifications must be submitted with the application. Pregnant women and their newborns (up to 6 weeks of age) may be eligible for AZT ahead of waiting list. Children will get ARV and pcp prophylaxis ahead of waiting list. Annual recertification required.
Enrollment	Program currently capped - There is a waiting list. Local CARE Consortiums provide extra coverage for medications, home care and nutrition.
Pharmacy	Central pharmacy distributes medications. Physician faxes or mails approval letter and prescription to central contracted pharmacy. Medication is transported to HIV/AIDS clinic or, upon request, mailed to client.
Nutrition	Available through public health services Local CARE Consortiums. Call (334) 206-5364 for referral.
